Natasha Ward is a VERY outstanding student. She is a senior and is currently taking business procedures, AP literature, AP calculus BC, and Spanish IV Independent Study. Since Natasha wants to major in Spanish at college, her independent study Spanish class a very good asset. She has a passion for the Spanish language. After graduation, Natasha is going to attend Spelman College and major in spanish and International Business. She will also plans to work with many volunteer organizations.

Natasha was recently chosen for the Georgia State Superintendent's Council, where only 52 of 650 applications were chosen. That is a very big deal! She scored a superior rating in the Flag Spanish Spoken Language Contest. Natasha is a member of the Clark Atlanta Educational Talent Search High "Q" Bowl Team that won state and will be traveling to regionals in April. She has been published in Who's Who Among High School Students as well as other poetry and essay contests. One thing Natasha has accomplished that is almost impossible for most of us is her perfect, not good but perfect, attendance since ninth grade.

Some of Natasha's hobbies include volunteer work, singing, reading, dancing, shopping and talking. She enjoys getting involved in speech contests and marching band activities. Most importantly, Natasha just enjoys being herself.

Natasha's future aspects include being a corporate attorney and helping not only Americans but also Hispanics. When asked where she saw herself in ten years, Natasha replied that she saw herself married and working on her doctorate. Also she sees herself succeeding in the world of law.

The things Natasha likes most about Newnan High are the staff (which has great respect for the students) and the AP courses and volunteer activities. She feels those aspects of NHS give students a chance to prepare for their future. Natasha also looks at the fact that she has met numerous friends who are unforgettable to her.

There is a quote Natasha lives by and it is by Adriana Bowles "Why try to fit in, when God made you stand out?" Natasha said this advice is why she exceeds expectations. Natasha says, "God has equipped me with enough materials to continue to succeed through life."
