Kimberly Wood

Kimberly Wood is a senior at Newnan High School. She is currently taking Teacher Apprenticeship, Advanced Calculus II, and Economics. Her most challenging, but her favorite, is Teacher Apprenticeship because "I plan to become a teacher," says Kimberly.

"Teacher Apprenticeship is really fun!" says Kimberly. She works with first graders because she can teach them and still do fun activities. She aspires to eventually become a teacher of first grade or kindergarten. When Kimberly graduates from Newnan, she is going to attend the University of Georgia and major in Early Childhood Education.

For now, Kimberly participates in Beta Club, National Honor Society, the A-Team, and Varsity Softball. She is also the boys' baseball team trainer. She is very involved in her church. Kimberly is a very well-rounded person.
