Jennifer Flake
Jennifer Flake is a senior at Newnan High School. She is currently taking World War II, Advanced Literature, and two blocks of Teacher Apprenticeship.
Jennifer's favorite class is World War II. "Coach Henderson is a great teacher, and he always makes class interesting and fun!" says Jennifer. She also says her most challenging class is Advanced English. "We are reading a bunch of books and doing grammar," she noted.
Jennifer commented on how wonderful the Teacher Apprenticeship Program is. She feels it is a great opportunity for exploring her dreams of becoming a teacher. Because she has had this opportunity, she feels compelled to teach first or second graders.
After Jennifer graduates from high school, she plans on going to college at either Auburn University or Gainesville State and then transferring to the University of Georgia. She would like to earn her masters degree in early childhood development. For now, she will continue to go to school, manage the soccer team, and go shopping.
