NHS Golf

Newnan High School golf will begin competition soon. Tryouts will be held at Orchard Hills Golf Course on February 5th, 6th, and 7th.

The team will compete in eleven nine-hole matches and three eighteen-hole tournaments, one being the Region Tournament.

Coach Ryan Sullivan has high expectations for this season. He believes the team has the talent to qualify for state. Coach Sullivan believes they have a group of core students who can contribute with consistently low scores. At last count there were twenty-four students trying out; two of the potential team members are female.

Players wishing to tryout should see Coach Sullivan and turn in all necessary paperwork. Coach Sullivan is looking for players to shoot in the high thirties to low forties to make the team.
