Lady Cougars Basketball

The varsity birls' basketball team won their second game of the season against Lithia Springs. They started their season out a little shaky but are coming back with a 2 - 7 record. The girls' free throws defeated Lithia Springs in the first half. Canesha Edwards scored her hightes this game, over 20 points! This is the 6th game she has paced the Cougars in scoring. Audrey Arnold helped by adding in her shot at 13.2 second left in the game. Denecia Jones finished with her 11 free throws. Alietha Sinkfield scored all five of hers from the line. All their teamwork helped them win 51 - 48.
