Renaissance Festival Open

The Renaissance Festival is now open and will continue through June 3rd. The festival will be open Saturdays and Sundays, 10:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The festival will also be open Monday, May 28th for Memorial Day.

As visitors enter the gates, they will encounter the 15th century king and his kingdom. People who attend will see castles and cottages and more than 150 shops offering treasures and craft demonstrations.

For those who enjoy crafts, there will be a full day of fun including the handmade pottery, handmade perfume, and glass blown goblets.

Activities for the festival include jousting on horseback, the high fling Birds of Prey and Animal Show, fire eating, and crack bullwhip target taking. New entertainment for this year includes a flying debris show and the sword show.

There are many types of foods available with the most famous being the enormous roasted turkey legs.

The Georgia Renaissance Festival is located off I-85 at the Peachtree City/Fairburn exit. Just follow the signs from the Interstate.

Ticket prices are $16.95 for adults, $14.95 for seniors 60 and older, $8.50 for children ages 6 through 12, and those children 5 or younger will be admitted free.
