Madrigal Dinner Outcome

Ms. Bizarth and the chorus department sponsored their second Madrigal performance dinner Thursday and Friday nights at 7:30 p.m. It was a full house for both nights.

Students in Ms. Bizarth's fourth block class tried out to be on the royal court. Cory Thompson was the king, Katie Henley was the queen, Taj Stephenson was the prince, and Marranda Hose was the princess, with a tag team of laughter from the jester Joel Mosley and the troubadour Sarah Beth Mosley.

The royal court came in and went to the head table, and the king gave the wassail toast.

The jester and the troubadour did a skit with the royal court using an American Idol theme.

Also, neighboring elementary school Atkinson was there to help in the royal feast by singing a selection of songs.

A four course meal of cheese and fruit, soup, the main meal (baked chicken, green beans, potatoes, and rolls) with the last course dessert was served and enjoyed. It was a great time, full of jokes, songs, and food.

The chorus department would like to thank all the parents and sponsors who helped make this wonderful night possible.
