Copeland Tucker

On any given day, you can catch a glimpse of "On the Job with Copeland Tucker." This show focuses on jobs teenagers might be considering as future careers.

The whole idea was sparked by Copeland's interest in another show featured on Channel 7. "In the spring of my ninth grade year, I saw this girl on TV on Channel 7. I thought to myself, 'I can do that!'" After that revelation, Copeland started to contact Newnan Utilities to pitch the idea for his show. A month of meetings and conferences was all it took for the show to be accepted.

It has been almost two years since Tucker's show first aired. His show has been doing a phenomenal job. The most interesting highlight Copeland has done was on the Channel 2 News Team. Copeland even got to meet John Pruitt!

At Newnan, Copeland is taking 11th grade English, Spanish III, Geometry, and AP US history. Outside of school, Tucker loves to drive around town, hang out with his friends, and watch his show on television!

Be sure to tune in at 8:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m., and watch "On the Job with Copeland Tucker!"
