Roses and Thorns

Now carrying a record of 4 - 1 the cougars pulled out another beautiful win against Paulding County last Friday. The final score was 48 - 15. Newnan's finesse really showed through in the passing game. Roses to another victory.

To receive an official transcript from the office, students must pay a fee of one dollar per transcript. Most students do not know about this charge. Thorns to the lack of communication.

Coweta County Board of Education has awarded students in this district with the Governor's Cup. This award is given to those students who have done extremely well on the SAT. Roses to our local achievement.

Many articles of death and corruption litter the pages of our local newspaper. I realize bad news is real news, but I am thankful that Cougar Chronicle is a positive paper. Thorns to bad news.
