Roses and Thorns

The Infinite Campus program is very helpful for students and their parents now that they can look at student grades online. Anyone failing classes cannot say they were unaware of it. A rose to Infinite Campus.

The vegetarian and vegan rate at our school is rising. Thanks to last Friday, Hug a Vegetarian Day, many students are attempting to go vegetarian. A rose to those trying to help save the animals by going vegetarian.

We have the privilege of having freedom of expression at our school, but some students abuse that privilege by wearing obscene or suggestive subjects on their clothing. Not only does improper dress make them look bad but it also reflects on the school. A thorn to those abusing the dress code.

It is against the law to bully someone. That law applies at school, but students are still the objects of bullies. This behavior needs to stop. A thorn to the students who bully others.
