Roses and Thorns

Especially for all juniors and seniors, this is the time for testing. The newly updated website has dates for all ACT and SAT testing. Roses to Newnan High for all the opportunities for students to do their best on these very important tests.

We have a very beautiful and well-landscaped campus. People work hard to provide a school that is clean and should make you feel proud. Plenty of large blue barrel trash cans sit sporadically throughout the campus leaving absolutely no reason for students to leave their trash cluttering all over the ground. Thorns to the litterbugs too lazy to walk to the trash cans.

We all filed into the auditorium expecting another boring gathering. Students of Newnan High were introduced to Denise Wilbanks, an actress from New York City's American Place Theater who presented us with an amazing one woman show. She brought "Literature to Life," as the program is called performing The Secret Lift of Bees. Roses to such a wonderful event right in our school.

Thorns to the fair being over. We know all good things must come to an end.
