Study Skills- SAT

The nation's oldest and most widely used college entrance exam is the SAT. The first SAT Reasoning Test was administered in 1926. It did no become a largely multiple choice exam until after World War II. Most SAT test takers do not know the intention of the SAT is to predict success for first-year college grades. Now is the time for juniors and seniors to take this important test.

The next test dates are as follows:

November 3, 2007-Registration deadline: October 2, 2007

December 1, 2007-Registration deadline: October 30, 2007

January 26, 2008-Registration deadline: December 26, 2007

March 1, 2008-Registration deadline: January 29, 2008

May 3, 2008- Registration deadline: April 1, 2008

June 7, 2008- Registration deadline: May 6, 2008

Collegeboard.com offers online registration and "SAT Question of the Day" to prepare students for the test. The site also offers "SAT Preparation Center" with a customized "SAT Study Plan," practice tests, "The Official SAT Online Course" and many other services all for free!
