Study Skills
Ask any teachers on campus and they will tell you one of the best ways to remember facts or definitions is through the use of flash cards. Flash cards are great for vocabulary words. You can put the vocabulary word on one side and the definition on the other. Flash cards also work well with facts associated with dates and events, but why waste time by using 3 x 5 index cards? There are now many great sites students can access to make their own flash cards online and even print them out if they want, which saves time!
A list of these sites include:
www.flashcardexchange.com/
www.aplusmath.com/Flashcards/
www.americangirl.com/agmg/school_smarts/cgi/flash.cgi?op=create
When preparing for your next test, try using flash cards. You may just find a valuable studying tool.
