Softball Season Begins

The Newnan Softball team has had a rough season so far. Although the team is quite talented, it is young. The record so far is 3-6.

The team's defensive leader is Kayla Vallery who had a .87 ERA after 24 innings pitched.

Katie Stewart leads the team offensively with a .316 batting average.

The team is very young this season with only two seniors and one junior. All other starters are either freshmen or sophomores.

Hopefully, the team will meet success as the season continues.
