Roses and Thorns

It is a good thing we have blocks instead of periods. Block schedules allow the teachers to get things done faster. If we had regular scheduling, it would take days just to watch a movie. That time length of classes earns a rose.

Having the privilege of riding a bus to and from school is a very good thing, considering the fact that gas prices are so high. If we did not have schools buses, most students could not afford to come to school. The buses earn a rose.

Students every day are going down the streets beside the school and smoking before schools tarts. A teacher does not get there to supervise until about 8:10 a.m. Some students get to school well before then and take advantage of no supervision. Lack of supervision earns a thorn.

In a lot of classes, a teacher will have about fifteen students; the same class the next block will have about thirty-two students. With so many people, it is hard to get the room quiet so others can work. The way some classes are divided earns a thorn.

If you have a ROSE or THORN of your own to give, please drop it in the suggestion box outside of room 107.
