Meet Our Principals

Dr. Douglas Moore

Principal

Dr. Moore is at the top of the Newnan High School food chain! He has the final say on pretty much everything. With his many privileges, however, come so not-so-great responsibilities--like boring meetings and a lot of unfair complaints from students and parents. His office is in the main office on the 100 hall.

Mr. Stephen Allen

Assistant Principal and Athletic Director

After Mr. Green retired last year, Mr. Allen took over the job of Athletic Director for Newnan High. He is in charge of things like managing funds for our sports teams and approving warm-up CD's before they can be played at games. His office is in the weight room.

Mrs. Penny Johnson

Assistant Principal--Senior

Mrs. Johnson may be one tough cookie, but she really cares about the students. She is in charge of the senior class so if anyone from class of '09 has a problem, she is the one to see! Her office is in the main office on the 100 hall.

Mr. Chase Puckett

Assistant Principal--Juniors

This year is Mr. Puckett's first at Newnan! He is in charge of class of '10. Juniors go to him for help. His office is in the 100 office.

Mr. Bennie Rhodes

Assistant Principal--Sophomores

Mr. Rhodes is head of the sophomore class. Their first year out of the freshman building can be overwhelming--if students run into any problems, they should see him! His office is in the Vocational Building (300 building).

Mr. Rick Surrett

Assistant Principal--Freshmen

Mr. Surrett is in charge of the part of the campus called the Freshman Building. He has the hefty task of training the "freshies" before they are released into the main buildings and allowed to roam the campus. His office is located in the Freshman Building.
