Blood Shortage in Newnan

Newnan has been struggling to meet the standards of local hospitals. Newnan is having a shortage on blood Type-O. Blood has been short for about a month. Two drives are scheduled for early September in Coweta. The first drive is on September 2nd. Local residents may donate blood at Popular Road Elementary throughout school hours.

The American Red Cross Southern Blood Services Region. Blood encourages all who are able to donate blood.
