World Little League Champs from Georgia

The Warner robbins Little League team brought home the trophy for the United States for the third year in a row. The team beat Tokyo 3 - 2 in a very suspenseful game on Sunday. That is the second trophy for Georgia in as many years. Columbus won the Little League World Series last year.

Dalton Carriker hit a home run in the bottom of the eighth off a pitch by Japan's Junsho Kiuchi.

Carriker was engulfed by his ecstatic team as he rounded third toward home base.

Georgia pitcher Kendall Scott struck out ten and allowed only one hit over more than five innings after Georgia fell behind 2 - 0 early in the game.

After shaking hands with the Tokyo players at the end of the game, the Georgia boys posed for pictures with their hard-earned championship banner.
