Cross Country

Newnan's first Cross Country meet was August 25th. The girls placed thirteenth out of twenty-one teams, with a total of 168 runners. The girls scored a 308. Their total time was 1:52:45.50 with an average time of 22:33.10. Elizabeth Gresham was Newnan's top runner. She finished with a time of 20:42.90.

Newnan's Cross Country boys placed thirteenth out of twenty teams with a total of 160 runners. The boys finished with a time of 1:30:51.10 and an average time of 18:10.22. William Pike was Newnan's top runner; he finished with a time of 16:45.20.

Newnan's next meet is the Carrollton Invitational on September 8th. The runners begin at 8:00 a.m.
