Mrs. Karen Allen

Mrs. Karen Allen generously answered a few questions for the Teacher Feature article. Since she has taught for twenty-one years, NHS already feels like home to Mrs. Allen. "After helping a few people learn how to use computers and apply technology, I discovered I really enjoyed it and decided to teach Business Education," Mrs. Allen stated.

As an active member of Unity Baptist Church, Mrs. Allen plays keyboard and sings in the choir. She also sings in Masterworks Chorale.

One ambition Mrs. Allen has is "to continue to accept new challenges that allow me to be a better teacher."

A big fan of the restaurant Pappsita's, Mrs. Allen admits, "I love Mexican food, and they have some of the best."
