Special Olympics

Special Olympics was held on Tuesday, April 29 at Newnan High School. Schools form all over Coweta County came to Newnan High School to compete. Some of the competitions are softball toss, the long jump, the ball throw, the forty yard dash, the wheelchair race, and the relay race. special Olympics is a great event for all special children to participate in because it lets the children have fun and feel good about themselves.

Companies from Newnan like Pizza Hut and Chick-Fil-A sponsored the Special Olympics by giving money and volunteering their time. Students from East Coweta, Northgate, and Newnan helped out with the event.
