Bionic Eagle

A seven year old Bald Eagle named Beauty will receive an artificial beak next month. She was found in an Alaskan land fill scrounging for food several years ago. Her beak was misshapen tragically by a hunter's gunshot. Her new artificial beak sill allow her to preen her feathers and to clutch food. Beauty will not be able to live in the wild; however, she should live a full life of fifty years in captivity after her surgery.
