Clayton Bellam

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."
-Dr. Seuss

Today one of Newnan High's seniors was picked from our vast student body to be one of the few Student Spotlights because of his outstanding work ethic. That student is none other than our very own left-handed Clayton Paul Michael Bellum, a man with four names.

Clayton has grown up in Newnan. However, three years ago at his grandparent's lake house in Alabama, Clayton had a strange experience.

It was just around the fourth of July and Clayton knew it. He was on the shore of the lake and just happened to look over and saw a seemingly ordinary 5x5 piece of plywood. Thinking it would be cool, he grabbed the board and tried to kick it in half with his ninja skills. Little did he know that there was a nail in the board waiting for an unsuspecting victim. Sadly enough, he accidentally punctured his foot when he kicked the nail. When he got home, he took off his shoe and (according to the record) "blood went everywhere." 911 was phoned, and an ambulance tried to come to the house and save poor Clayton, but the ambulance could not reach the house because of a certain pothole in the a certain road. So, to save his life, Clayton's brother-in-law, David, carried Clayton on his back one half of a mile to the ambulance and safety. Clayton's foot hurt for a while after that.

Clayton Paul Michael Bellam likes the emoticon "<(0_0)>" and the red telletubby.
