Teacher of the Year

A few months ago, Mrs. Ay Benton was chosen as Teacher of the Year for Newnan High School. Now, Mrs. Benton, a chemistry teacher, has advanced to become one of three finalists for Coweta County's Teacher of the Year Award. Mrs. Benton has taught the students of NHS for several years, and she is the current sponsor of the Student Government Association. She is also the head cheerleading coach.
