Wrights Concert & Alan Jackson

The Wrights came to perform at the new Greenville Street Park off the square in Newnan on Saturday April 26. The duo released their first album in 2005. Adam Wright is the son of Lamar and Cathy Wright of Newnan. He is also the nephew to Alan Jackson.

This week Alan and Denise Jackson were honored at the first Richard Brooks Visionary Awards of Artistic Distinction on Tuesday, April 29. It was held a the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts at 7:00 p.m. Tickets were free on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Alan and Denise also stirred up Tuesday, April 29, afternoon from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Scott's Bookstore. Denise was there to sign her new devotional book The Road Home. Alan was there for support and to sign his newest cd, Good Time.
