Cougars lose by One Once Again to Hiram

The early struggles on the mound for the Cougars came back to haunt them Friday, April 25 at Hiram. The Hornets put up five runs in the first few innings due to the pitching mistakes of the Cougars. The final score was 8-7 in a late comeback by the Cougars, but they could not pull it out.

The pitching by Garret Smith has its ups and downs. He pitched two scoreless innings after he had given up five runs in the first two. Andrew Ross came in giving up three runs and no walks.

The Cougars had hits throughout the line-up but could not manage to get them with runners in scoring position.
