Newnan Pitching Dominates LaGrange

The Cougars came out strong putting up three runs in the first three innings on Saturday, April 19 against the Grangers. The Cougars held the Grangers to only two hits in seven innings. The final score was 3-0 due to the excellent pitching and flawless defense of the Cougars.

Marc Frazier started the game allowing on hit in two innings. Zach Farmer pitched the remainder of the game allowing only one hit with ten strike outs.

The Cougars had eleven hits but only managed to get three runs due to the lack of hits with runners in scoring position. There were hitting substitutions throughout the game, so may players got the chance to hit and earn playing time.
