Newnan Track

The Newnan track team competed in the Coweta County Track meet. Chalonda Goodman placed first in the 100 meters and the 200 meters. Other runners who placed first were Monique Blanding, Canesha Edwards, Rashema Barnes and Jelisa Arnold. Monique won the 300 meters, Canesha won the high jump and long jump. Roshema won the shot put, and Jelisa won the discus. Danielle Snead placed second in the 100 meters. The girls 4x100 also came in first place.

The boys also had a successful day. William Pike was runner up in the 3200 meters, and he came in third in the 1600 meters. Marlin Jones won the high jump. Javoris Mitchell also won the triple jump. Alec Ogletree placed second in the long jump, and Kenyada White ran the 300 meters and came in second. Alexander Ogletree was runner up in the discus. In the 100 meters, Ronald Herndon placed second. Newnan's boys won the 4x100 and placed second in the 4x100.
