Newnan Baseball Victorious Against the Patriots

The Cougars came out on top Tuesday, March 28, with a victory in their first region game against Paulding County - 6-3. The Patriots showed up with a better team than they had last year and put up a fight against the Cougars. The Cougars had seven hits by seven different batters including Carson Carral, Billy Dancy, Kevin Dunn, Alex Hand, Colson McMichael, Mathew Ross, and Steven Takenton.

Marc Frazier took the mound to start the game pitching 4 and a third innings allowing only one run. Tyler Marchman and Steven Tarkenton both came in for relief giving up only two runs in the seventh but still getting the save.
