Cougars Scalp Chiefs

Monday, August 24, the Lady Cougars Softball team defeated the McIntosh Lady Chiefs 2 - 0. Strong pitching by junior Amber McIntyre allowed just 3 hits and recorded 8 strikeouts. Offensively, Barnecia Orr got the first score after pinch running for Molly Garmany. Dani Gravett earned the second run off of a McIntosh throwing error in the bottom of the fifth inning. McIntyre was able to retire the last nine batters to complete a whole game of pitching.

The Lady Cougars' next game was against Carrollton on August 25.
