Firefighting

Charles Bowen donated a 1,550-square-foot, wood framed structure located on Adcock Road in the 700 block. He donated the building for for firefighters to train in a love0fire setting. Firefighters had to follow standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency before igniting the fire. They had to practice fire suppression drills, search and rescue and pumping operations. Charles Bowen provided firefighters a way so they can save people's lives.
