Clean-Up Time

The Great American Clean-Up will soon be taking place, and any clubs interested are welcome to participate. Several Newnan High clubs have been informed about this possible hour earning activity and will likely provide more information at upcoming meetings. The clean-up will take place on March 20th, and volunteers are asked to meet behind City Hall at 9:00 a.m., or inside if it is raining. Volunteers will be placed into groups and given vests, gloves, bags, and trash grabbers to use in the clean-up. The event typically lasts about thirty minutes to an hour, with participation from the mayor and city council members. Afterwards, volunteers are invited back to City Hall after their clean-up for lunch.
