In Patchogue, New York, a cab driver is being recognized for returning over $21,000 to an Italian traveler. Felicia Lettieri, 72, accidentally left her purse in the cab in Christmas Eve. Lettieri's purse contained traveling money for her family. Authorities told the family not to get their hopes up, but luckily, the cabdriver Mukul Asaduzzaman drive about fifty miles to an address he had found in the purse. Asaduzzaman told the New York Post newspaper, "When I was five years old, my mother told me, 'Be honest, work hard and you will raise your stations.'" The cabdriver refused to any rewards for his good deed.
