What Kind of Dog Should President-elect Obama Get for Sasha and Malia?

After promising his two daughters on national television that they will be bringing a new puppy to the White House with them, President-elect Obama now faces a tough decision. What kind of dog should the Obamas adopt?

The Obama family's intention is to adopt a shelter dog, but that may be difficult as the future first pet needs to be hypoallergenic due to Malia's allergy to pet dander.

Most canine experts are recommending choosing between a Bichon Frise, a Poodle, a Cairn Terrier, or a Greyhound.

It seems that the Obama's pet-to-be is the most famous animal of the 21st century--and he (or she) hasn't even been discovered yet! Other famous White House pets are George H. W. Bush's Springer Spaniel Millie and Caroline Kennedy's pony Macaroni.
