Roses and Thorns

Hayley Williams, the lead vocalist for the hit band Paramore, is doing the sound track for the movie Twilight, based on the popular Twilight book series. Hayley has inspired many of her fans to read that series. Since reading is a great thing, a rose to Hayley Williams.

More and more people are beginning to recycle. There are posters promoting recycling all around campus. Recycling helps ours and future generations. A rose to everyone who recycles.

Sleeping is a good thing, as long as you are not doing it at school. Some people snore, sleep talk, sleep walk, or, like me, sing in their sleep. Doing such things disturbs others trying to learn. A thorn to students sleeping in class.

There are large groups of students being loud outside at lunch. Not only does that clamor disturb students trying to have a peaceful lunch but also students and teachers in classrooms. A thorn to students being loud at lunch.
