6.7 Magnitude Earthquake
On November 9, 2009, a 6.7 magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia at 3:41 a.m. The earthquake hit a small island chain just east of the Lombock resort island.
The earthquake left one person dead, twenty people were hospitalized, and eighty people were injured. Seven hundred twenty houses, five schools, and three government offices near the Lombock resort island sustained damage.
