Newnan Cross Country

Newnan's girls and boys cross country teams went to Carrollton to run the Last Chance Invitational. It was an overall success and was the last chance to run on the state course before the state meet.

The Lady Cougars finished 13th in AAAAA with the average time of 22:52. The girls were led by Elizabeth Gresham who finished 19th with a time of 21:01.

The boys' team finished 16th in AAAAA. William Pike completed his race in 16:42 and placed 5th overall and 1st for Newnan.
