Barbara Bush Helps Reading Program
Former First Lady Barbara Bush visited McDougle Elementary School in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday, October 28, to cut the ribbon for the New Reading Express Program.
The Reading Express is a mobile library that will help children who do not have a way to get to the nearest library.
It is a grant project founded by the Klien Education Foundation. Gerda and Kurt Klien are the founders of the foundation and promotes education which teaches tolerance and respect for others.
