"Boy, It Was Big"
The Oasis of the Seas is now officially the largest cruise ship in the world. The Oasis of the Seas is about 20 stories high; it has 2,700 cabins and can hold 6,300 passengers and 2,100 crew members. It has seven neighborhoods, an ice rink, a small golf course and a 750 seat outdoor amphitheater. The behemoth stretches 1,200 feet from bow to stern. It was build by STX Finland for Royal Caribbean International.
The Oasis of the Seas has four swimming pools, volleyball and basketball courts, and a youth zone with theme parks and nurseries for children.
