Civics
What is Civics?
Civics is the study of citizenship and government. Highlighted areas will be the three branches of the federal government, the Constitution, political parties and elections, as well as state and local government. Civics will be taught in the ninth grade for a full term(18 weeks) which will allow for in depth instruction in the government and citizenship. This course is required for graduation.

Assignments are to be turned in on time
Any students caught cheating( includes doing homework during class time) will recieve a zero for that assignment, a displine referral, and parents will be notified.
All rules and provisions of the school handbook will be enforced.
