GEORGIA THESPIAN CONFERENCE
On February 8 and 9, members of Thespian Troupe 7132 traveled to the Georgia Thespian Conference which was held at the Performing Arts Center in Jonesboro, GA.  The company of the One-Act Play, Lebensraum, gave the final performance of their award-winning production when they were invited to perform in front of the Conference audience.  At auditions held during the weekend, Corey Thompson was awarded a $1000 college scholarship and Scears Lee was selected to perform in the Individual Events Showcase before the 1800 seat full-conference delegation.  Congratulations to all of the members of the Troupe who attended the Conference and made such a positive showing.

SPRING SOCIAL
On Friday, April 4, NewSource Theatre Company, the Newnan High School Drama Club, will hold its Spring Social Event at the new City Park on First Avenue.  The Social will be after school from 4:30 until 5:30.  Refreshments, including sandwiches, chips, and drinks will be available along with music and games.  If you plan to attend, stop by room 95 to sign up.  We ask each member to donate $2.00 toward the food.
