Attention students and staff members,

Over 100 major universities, colleges, technical schools, and community groups will be here to help you plan for life after high school. This event is open to all area high school students in grades 9-12.  If your teacher is offering extra credit or a community service grade, be sure to stop by one of the four sign in tables to register your attendance at this event.  All four branches of the military will be present, as well as UGA, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Berry College, Georgia Southern, Auburn, and many other schools from Georgia and the southeast region.  Be sure to visit the school website to see the confirmed list of attendees at www.cowetaschools.org/nhs .

Students, thanks so much for the tremendous response to the blood drive.  All spots are full for Wednesday, but we will have another drive this coming spring.  Those who have signed-up to work and donate, if something has changed and you can’t make your time slot, please let Mrs. Vickers know.  Drink plenty of water, eat something before donating and bring a picture ID.  Remember, you can only donate if you are sixteen or older, and if you are sixteen, you must bring your parental consent form before you can donate.
