AFFIDAVITS ARE DUE IN DECEMBER BY
THE END OF THE FIRST SEMESTER. PLEASE CONTACT THE SCHOOL IF YOU HAVE
QUESTIONS.
As you all know, the
can-a-thon was kicked off at Friday night’s football game. A big thanks to everyone who donated. Donations will
continue through first block classes. We accept cans as well as
cash. $1.00 is equivalent to 4 cans. ROTC will collect on Mondays
and Thursdays. The can-a-thon ends on the 20th of
November. The 1st block class with the highest average will
win a special prize. Let’s get out there and support this great cause!
The Senior Class
MOCK TRIAL meets today at 3:35.
ART CLUB meets today after school to print club
t-shirts. Plan to stay until 4:30.
BETA CLUB will have its November meeting today in the
SENIORS: Information for the Sam Walton Community
Scholarship is available in the
Shorter College will have a representative in the main
cafeteria during all lunches TOMORROW.

BETA CLUB: Operation Christmas Child is under
way! Start filling boxes for this wonderful service project. See
Mrs. Perkins for more information.
School Council will meet Monday, November 9th
at 6:30pm.
PARTNER’S CLUB: The next meeting will be Thursday,
November 12th. There are two meeting times – 8:00am in room
212 or 3:30pm in room 209. Please attend only ONE meeting.
SGA’s next meeting will
be held Wednesday, November 18th for yearbook photos. Members
should report to room 215 at 8:00am wearing your blue SGA shirts.
A representative from the Georgia Student Finance
Commission will be at Northgate on Monday, November 9th at 6:00pm in
the cafeteria to discuss HOPE Scholarship and the FAFSA. This will be a
very informative meeting for parents of seniors about the financial aid
paperwork you will be filling out in preparation for college. Please plan
to attend.
