Important Information from the Georgia Department of Motor Vehicle Safety!

Parents or guardians of teenagers applying for a driver's license must sign a sworn statement saying they have given their teenager driving instruction. Teens who do not take a driver's education course must drive for 40 hours under parental supervision. Teens who successfully complete a driver's education course still must have 20 hours of supervision. In both cases, six of those hours must be at night.
