*PARENT INFO*  

  • REMINDER!  Parents we are in testing mode, EOC’s for the next 2 weeks and then final exams.  Please limit check-outs to emergencies.

  • BE SURE YOUR AFFIDAVIT IS DONE BEFORE THE WINTER BREAK TO AVOID DISRUPTION OF YOUR STUDENTS SCHEDULE NEXT SEMESTER!

2018-19 Completed Affidavits are due back to Northgate NLT Wednesday, December 19th by 8:30 a.m.  Please review the requirements for completion of affidavits and turn these in as soon as possible.  Notaries are available in the Northgate front office from 8:00am – 4:00pm. *GUIDANCE/SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION*

  • Seniors! Lots of scholarship applications are now available in the career center or on the NGHS website under Counseling Dept/Scholarships - Scholarship Info

  • Students Without Mothers is accepting applications from high school juniors until Mon., Dec. 31st  for college scholarships that will be awarded to 2020 graduates.  SWM is a local non-profit organization providing scholarships to high school students who are without their mothers due to death or other unfortunate circumstances.

  • The Georgia Tech Women in Engineering Program is hosting a Students Exploring Engineering (SEE) event for female 9th and 10th graders on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 8:45AM to 4:00PM at GA Tech.  SEE is a one-day event that offers female high school freshmen and sophomores the opportunity to explore the possibilities of engineering.  Attendees will also have the chance to meet with a GT Admissions Counselor to find out about the admissions process and the academic requirements necessary to be successful in engineering undergraduate programs.

The non-refundable registration fee for SEE is $25.00, which covers all materials, breakfast and lunch for each girl attending the program.  For more information on the event and registration, please visit http://wie.gatech.edu/students-exploring-engineering.

  • Coweta Fayette EMC sponsors 11th grade students to attend the Washington Youth Tour in June.  Applications are available in the Career Center. Deadline to apply- 2/8/19

  • Refuge - Refuge Prayer Club meets every TUESDAY morning @ 8:00am in room #763 in the 9th grade building - all students are welcome!

  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) -  FCA meets every Thursday morning in the Old Gym from 7:45 - 8:15am.  All are welcome to join us.
