Welcome to Northgate High School!

ATTENTION STUDENTS & PARENTS!!

The railroad crossing at Hwy 154 & Hwy 29 will be closed from Monday to Saturday, next week.  This will impact students, staff and transportation.

PLEASE keep this in mind as you head out to school next week – this is particularly important for those reporting at 7:30am. Leave EARLY, Drive SAFE & Be ON TIME! Detour options: Click here

End Of Course Test (EOCT)

For students who began high school in 2011 the assessment will count 20% of your student's total grade for the course and is part of a graduation requirement.  For students who entered high school prior to 2011 this test will count 15% of your student's total grade for the course and may be substituted for the Georgia High School Graduation Tests.  Students must meet assessment requirements to earn a diploma in the state of Georgia.

Testing dates and subjects:

Monday, May 14th - Part A of Math and Social Studies subjects

Tuesday, May 15th - Part B of Math and Social Studies subjects

Wednesday, May 16th - Part A of Science and English subjects

Thursday, May 17th - Part B of Science and English subjects

AP Course Credit
Students involved in Advance Placement (AP) classes have the opportunity to take the AP exam in May.
Passing scores are 3, 4, or 5 (with 5 being the highest possible score).  Many colleges award college credit for courses where the student has earned a score of 3, 4, or 5 on the AP exam.
