NCES receives the Platinum Award!
Our school has been recognized by the Governor's Office of Student Achievement as a winner in the 2008 Single Statewide Accountability System awards.  We received the platinum award for making the greatest gains in student achievement.  To receive the platinum award, schools must have made Adequate Yearly Progress for 3 consecutive years and have a minimum of 35% Exceeding Standards and Meets and Exceeds Gain equal to or greater than 4.29% on the CRCT.  Our school was one of only 26 elementary schools in the state of Georgia to receive this award.  To receive this award, it takes the collaborative effort of teachers and parents working with students to receive this success!
