Changes
in Transportation
Transportation requests will no longer be accepted
over the phone. All transportation requests must be
made in writing. The only way transportation notes
will be accepted is by a written request from the
parent, either in the form of a written letter or by
FAX.
ALL TRANSPORTATION NOTES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 3:00.
Checking Out
If a student is being checked out of school early,
the parent/guardian must come to the main office and
present proper identification.
THERE ARE NO EARLY CHECKOUTS AFTER 3:00.
(Please see the student handbook pages 8 and 9, #5,
under Early Dismissal.)
Cell Phones at School
Every student has been given a copy of
the Cell Phone Policy Letter to Parents.
Please read the letter for an explanation of
the new CCSS cell phone policy approved by
the Coweta County Board of Education on
Tuesday, September 11, 2007. A
copy is available below for you convenience.

Business Partners
Promotional Graphix - Producers of promotional items
including custom designs embroidered or printed on
apparel and fundraisers. This company has
worked with Madras for several years and the owners
are now proud Madras Eagle parents.
A&W Nursery - Located on Hwy 29, A&W Nursery has
loaned plants to the school for special occasions
and has worked to improve landscaping.
Collecting
These Items!
Please send in empty printer cartridges to the MMS
front office. Funds from the recycling of the
cartridges will be donated to the PetSmart
Charities. Each recycled cartridge earns $2.00 for
the charity benefiting homeless animals.
We are also continuing to collect Box Tops for
Education. Send box tops that have the Box Tops for
Education emblem on them. These provide items for
our school.
Yearbook Orders
Yearbooks are on sale now! All orders must be
submitted via the Jostens web site. Click and
follow the easy steps to order your student's
yearbook today.
