The Madras Middle School Media Center sponsored a Scholastic Book Fair March 17-21.  I would like to thank all who helped to make this fair a success.  A special thanks to Charlotte Whitlock for organizing our wonderful parent volunteers!  We appreciate so much all of those who gave of their time to help.  Also, “thank you,” parents for allowing your children to spend money at the fair.  Our profit of $1,372.00 will be used to purchase materials for students and teachers.  We plan to hold two book fairs again this next school year, so we look forward to your continued support of our school media center.

As we prepare for the end of this school year, I would like to remind everyone that the last day for student checkout will be Friday, May 9^th with all books due back on Monday, May 12^th.  All overdue fines and lost book fines need to be paid by May 22^nd.

I have enjoyed so much getting to know your children this school year and look forward to another great year in 2008-2009.
