Madras Students Excel!
Madras students exhibit Madras P.R.I.D.E in academics, arts, and sports!  Take a look at our most recent accomplishments.
 
Science Fair Winners
In their first West Georgia Regional Science Competition, Madras students won first and second place honors.  Drake Mapel, James Alexander, Chase Smith won second place for their projects. Garrett Reichman and Tyler Sisk are first place winners and will compete in the state competition in Athens.
Madras Sweeps Oratorical Contest
Chaz Ferdinand and Cali Fain represented Madras in the Newnan Chapter's Optimist Club Oratorical Contest.  Competing against CCSS middle and high school students, Fain and Ferdinand both won first place!  They will represent CCSS in the Zone Competition.
Madras Wins CCSS Spelling Bee!
Seventh Grade student Ryan Jones took first place in the 2009 CCSS Spelling Bee and will represent all CCSS schools in the Regional Competition.

Chorus Students Make All State Chorus
Nick Emory, Skylar Skelton, Justin Carlock, Caroline Thompson, Madeline Robinson, Maggie Shiffert and Tori Vinson were selected to participate in the Georgia All State Chorus.

Student Selected for State Contest
Cody Ford's work was selected to represent Madras in the Georgia Department of Transportation's Art Contest for School Bus Safety Week.
